Melinda begins to work on ficus bark paper, which she transfers and repeats on various supports, thus forming a natural pattern reminiscent of cell division. The works echo the native environment from which the artist draws his inspiration.
Melinda Infante was born in 1994, she lives and works in Geneva, Switzerland.
She considers her works to be really intimate as she needs to be at her most vulnerable to create and encapsulate her emotions within her works.
During her studies in the medical field, she developed her own artistic style. Melinda Infante considers her art as an extension of her studies: transferring her moments spent in the delivery room onto canvases .The works echo the native environment from which the artist draws his inspiration.
Thus was born her proposal, her series of works which she calls "be a drop" - to be a drop, the abyss of a drop which multiplies until forming the magic of the human.
Melinda begins to show her work in her workshop but through networks she manages to reach a large national and international audience.
