Julia A.Etedi

Franco-Hungarian, Julia A. Etedi weaves her artistic journey in the vibrant crosstalk of two cultures. An only child, she discovered from a very young age that artistic creation was the language that connected her to the outside world, a means of expressing her thoughts in the face of poor communication with parents with divergent linguistic codes. In Julia's palette, gestures become subjects, movements become poems, dilutions of pigments become verbs, and empty spaces become punctuations. His abstract pictorial language evokes a symphony, reflecting his synesthetic way of understanding the world around him.

“The unexpected refers to the unknown, the accidental, the unpredictable, what is confusing and it is this theme that I wanted to take on. ..”

JULIA A.ETEDI

Passionate about philosophy and aware of the communication challenges that her parents faced, she joined a hypokhâgne then a khâgne before joining CELSA, a major school specializing in communication and marketing while exploring contrasting professional worlds.
